Praying for the Blessing of Aaron

Aaron was the first priest of Israel. His story begins in the book of Exodus, as the spokesperson and assistant for his younger brother, Moses. Together they helped lead the Hebrews out of slavery and through the years of desert wondering. In the days of Moses and his brother, Aaron, to speak words of blessing to someone was no empty formality. In the book of Numbers 6:22-27, God provided specific instruction for how the Old Testament priests were to pronounce the Lord's blessing upon is people.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses saying, "Speak to Aaron and to his sons. You shall say to them: May the Lord bless you and keep you; May His face shine brightly upon you, May He be gracious to you; And give you His peace. So they shall invoke My name on the sons of Israel, and I will then bless them."(Numbers 6:22-27)

God's blessing came through a mediator named Moses and his brother, Aaron. in the grand scheme of things, this initiative shows us how God loves to bless His people. By becoming an Aaron's Angel, you help His children break the destructive cycles of abuse and addiction through the hope and healing made possible by Christ's love and quality treatment.
