Brianna Mauntz is a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee at Western Seminary, obtaining an M.A. in counseling. I decided to pursue a career as a therapist after attending therapy. I have greatly benefitted from the support therapy has given me as I have gone through my struggles with anxiety and the passing of my father. My journey has made me passionate about supporting my clients in their struggles and empowering them to create positive change in their lives. I deeply desire my clients to feel heard and find space to be their most authentic selves.

As a former preschool teacher, I have experience working with young children through difficult emotions, behavioral issues, and life transitions. Along with working with children, I also enjoy working with teens and young adults. Some areas I focus on are childhood/adolescent issues, young adult issues, women's issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, and grief. Though therapy can feel like a daunting first step, I am excited and honored to walk alongside my clients on their healing journeys.

In my free time, I enjoy hosting dinner parties for friends and having movie nights. I also love camping or exploring new places with my husband.
